Your profile, walking progress, and messages cannot be recovered after your account is deleted. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
Request deletion without the app
You do not need to reinstall Hardcore Walk to request deletion. Email our support team with the subject “Hardcore Walk account deletion”.
Or write directly to [email protected]. Include your display name and linked sign-in email or account ID, if known. Never send a password or verification code.
We may ask for enough information to verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it. Support replies within 48 hours and will confirm the next steps and completion. Sending an email starts a request; it does not instantly delete the account.
Delete in the app
- Open Hardcore Walk.
- Open Settings using the settings icon on your status card.
- Choose Delete account.
- Choose Continue, then Delete forever.
If you linked Apple sign-in, you may be asked to confirm with Apple. If that cannot complete, follow the app’s option to delete without Apple access, then remove Hardcore Walk from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
Keep your internet connection active until deletion completes. If it fails, try again or use the email request above.
What is deleted
Successful account deletion removes your account and associated profile, round history, step totals, messages, blocks, reports, preferences, invitations, push tokens, camp drawings, reactions, and backend purchase records from the active service. Rounds you created can continue for other players, but they are no longer linked to your account.
Gallery artwork is retained separately. Account deletion removes its account link and replaces the displayed artist name, but does not erase the artwork or personal details you drew into it. You can hide it before deletion or contact support to request removal, including after deletion. Local drawing drafts are not automatically erased by server account deletion; remove local app data to erase those copies.
Deletion removes account unlocks and unused credits from our backend and does not request a refund. Eligible non-consumable purchases may be restored through the purchasing store account; spent credits cannot be restored and unused credits do not transfer to a new account. RevenueCat customer records are not automatically deleted by this action. Contact support to request their erasure. Apple and Google keep their own store transaction records under their policies and legal obligations.
It does not delete the original step records in Apple Health or Health Connect. You can manage those records and revoke the app’s health access in your device’s health settings.
Data erased from our active backend expires from its backups and manual database exports within 30 days. The separately retained gallery and provider records described above are not covered by that deletion timeframe. Operational logs are retained for up to 30 days. Support correspondence and moderation emails, including drawing attachments, are deleted within 12 months after resolution, unless we need to keep specific records to meet a legal obligation or handle a legal claim. See retention and deletion for details. Copies other players have saved, such as screenshots or delivered notifications, are outside our control.
Anonymous accounts
You have an anonymous account even if you never linked Apple or Google sign-in. That account can hold progress and messages. Use the same in-app deletion steps. If you have lost access, email us with any account details you still have so we can try to identify and verify it.
